Şivlilik, a long-established tradition unique to the Konya region, was celebrated with great enthusiasm through an event organized to welcome the arrival of the Three Sacred Months. The program, organized by our school’s NEFES Community, featured colorful moments that kept traditional values alive.
As part of the event, the lantern parade created a nostalgic atmosphere for the participants, while the ritual of jumping over the fire was performed with wishes for abundance and prosperity. Throughout the program, the refreshments served strengthened the spirit of unity and sharing, and the musical performance presented by our students added a special meaning to the evening.

The Şivlilik celebration contributed to preserving a cultural heritage passed down from generation to generation and offered participants a meaningful gathering that both reminded them of traditional values and reinforced social cohesion. The event, attended by our academic staff and students, was completed with great satisfaction.
