An educational seminar titled “The Importance of Breast Milk” was organized for first-year students of the Medical Laboratory Techniques Program.
During the seminar, it was emphasized that breast milk is the first and most valuable source of nutrition during infancy. It was noted that breast milk is highly suitable for the baby’s digestive system and is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, antibodies, and various inorganic compounds.
The presentation highlighted that breast milk is not only important for its nutritional value but also plays a crucial role in strengthening the baby’s immune system, supporting mental development, and fostering the emotional bond between mother and child.
The seminar aimed to raise students’ awareness about infant nutrition, growth, and the significance of breast milk. The session concluded with the reaffirmation that breast milk is an indispensable element in nurturing healthy generations.
