The Department of Medical Services and Techniques at Ereğli Vocational School of Health Services organized a meaningful event as part of “Breast Cancer Awareness Month.” The aim of the event was to raise awareness among students and the public about the importance of early diagnosis in breast cancer.
During the event, one of our students, Osman Mecit, delivered a presentation emphasizing the vital importance of early detection in breast cancer. He highlighted that when breast cancer is diagnosed at an early stage, the treatment success rate exceeds 90%, and he reminded women not to neglect regular check-ups and self-examinations.
To reinforce the message of awareness, participants — including students and faculty members — wore pink ribbons, the universal symbol of the fight against breast cancer.
