Forests Are Our Breath, Protecting Them Is Our Duty

Forests, often referred to as the lungs of the Earth, play a vital role in maintaining climate balance and preserving biodiversity. However, in recent years, forest fires have become one of the most significant threats to these natural treasures in our country. Caused by both natural factors and human activities, forest fires not only disrupt ecological balance but also damage the natural beauty of our country, which is renowned for its tourism potential.

To emphasize the importance of forests and raise awareness about preventing forest fires, a seminar themed "Forests Are Our Breath, Protecting Them Is Our Duty" was held at our vocational school. The seminar, delivered by Lecturer Azime Bozkurt, covered topics such as the contributions of forests to living ecosystems, the regional distribution of forested areas in our country, the causes of forest fires, and the responsibilities individuals have in preventing them.
