Under the leadership of Lecturer Dr. Gamze Yıldırım and organized by the NEFES Student Community, our students reused discarded plastic bottles by transforming them into feeding bowls for animals.

As part of the event, held under the slogan “From Plastic Bottles to Feeding Bowls: From Saving to Kindness,” students cut and shaped the plastic bottles to create feeding bowls, which they then painted and decorated before making them ready for use.

The event aimed to raise awareness among our students about reuse and resource conservation while also fostering sensitivity towards animals. By demonstrating how waste materials can be repurposed for different purposes, the event brought together environmental awareness and social responsibility.
