The founder of the Republic of Türkiye, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, was commemorated with respect and gratitude on the 87th anniversary of his passing.
The ceremony began at 9:05 a.m. with a moment of silence accompanied by sirens, followed by the recitation of the National Anthem. The event, attended by academic staff and students, was marked by emotional moments.

Following the moment of silence, Assistant Director Lecturer Hayrullah Evci delivered a speech highlighting the meaning and significance of the day. In his address, he emphasized that Atatürk’s ideas, principles, and reforms continue to guide the Turkish nation.
