The event began with a speech by Lecturer Dr. Gamze Yıldırım, who emphasized the significance of saving in both individual and social life. Dr. Yıldırım informed the students about conscious consumption, highlighting that small steps toward saving can make great contributions to both economic and environmental sustainability.

Following the opening speech, students participated in an enjoyable activity. From the prepared “Savings Jar”, students randomly drew words and combined them to form proverbs and idioms reflecting the themes of saving, sharing, and conscious consumption.

Throughout the event, students not only had fun but also discovered the role of saving within our cultural values.
