On the occasion of World Anatomy Day, October 15, an event was organized at our Vocational School to highlight the importance of anatomy and raise students' awareness of the field.
During the event, the historical development of anatomy, its significance in medicine and health sciences, and the contributions of Andreas Vesalius, widely regarded as the founder of modern anatomy, to the scientific community were discussed. Additionally, the contributions of body donation to medical education were emphasized, highlighting its vital role in anatomy education and scientific research, as well as the need to raise public awareness of this issue.

Following the informative presentation, an anatomy quiz competition was held with the active participation of students. Divided into teams, students had the opportunity to test their knowledge of anatomy in an enjoyable and competitive environment. At the end of the competition, small gifts were presented to the winning teams.

The event provided students with an opportunity to reinforce their knowledge and enjoy an engaging learning experience while contributing to greater awareness of the fundamental role of anatomy in healthcare.
