Overview
Our Presidency; Personnel and Administrative Affairs Branch Directorate organized an in-service training titled “Leadership and Teamwork” for our administrative staff on Friday, February 07, 2025, between 15.00-16.00 on the 3rd floor of the Rectorate Block B of our University. The training aimed to provide participants with skills in leadership and teamwork.
Dr. Uğur ATASEVEN from the General Secretariat Training Unit of our University participated as a trainer. Dr. ATASEVEN emphasized the key elements of effective leadership and creating a strong team dynamic, and emphasized the positive effects of these skills on productivity and harmony within the organization. Participants were provided with information on recognizing leadership styles and developing appropriate leadership strategies for different situations. In addition, interactive sessions were organized during the training on how to build healthy communication, trust and mutual respect within the team.
During the training, participants learned about roles within the team, task sharing and collaboration towards common goals, reinforced with practical examples. Dr. ATASEVEN presented examples through group work and various case studies to improve individual and team performance. In addition to theoretical knowledge, participants had the opportunity to better understand team dynamics with real-life examples.
This training is considered as an important step to increase cooperation and efficiency within the organization, strengthen team spirit and reinforce leadership skills. It was stated that such trainings organized by the Personnel and Administrative Affairs Branch Directorate will continue to support the professional development of administrative staff.
