Can KAĞAR, one of our prep class students, successfully represented our country by winning the “Imaginary Award” at FRC REginol in the USA with his TUBITAK 2204-A project. School of Foreign Languages Director Prof. Dr. Murat ÇEMREK accepted our student Can KAĞAR in his office and received information about his projects. During the visit, Can KAĞAR presented his book “Zıp Zıp Neurons at Work”, which he is both editor and author, to our school principal.

Can KAĞAR, who started his journey with his passion for engineering and technology since his childhood, attracted attention with the “Best Programming Award” he won in the First Lego League, and received great applause with his brave stance and impressive presentation at TEKNOFEST Flying Car Design. KAĞAR, who demonstrated his scientific research competence with the TÜBİTAK 2204-A project, successfully represented his country in the international arena by winning the “Imagery Award” at the USA FRC Regional with the Fenerbahçe Doğuş SPARC team, waving the Turkish Flag and singing the National Anthem, and made our voice heard all over the world. He was deemed worthy of the “Best Team Spirit” award in Teknofest 2016 Rocket competition and the “Best Advisor” award in 2023, where he served as Team Captain. KAĞAR, who achieved a double victory with both the “Most Competitive Team Award” and the “Creativity Award” at Robotex held in Estonia, blended his social responsibility work with technology with his projects for children in the earthquake zone as a Hatayadan during the February 6 earthquake, and continued to inspire young people in NASA AstroCamp trainings. Having mastered his technical skills in SolidWorks, Adobe products and laser cutting technologies, KAĞAR aims to be one of the engineer leaders of the future with his discipline, leadership and determination.
