As part of the “Improving the Quality of Foreign Language Education in Turkey” project, jointly funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented in cooperation between the Council of Europe and the Presidency of the Council of Education (TTKB) of the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Turkey, on October 8, 2025, the Presidency of the Council of Education organized a seminar titled “The Use of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) in Language Education.”

    Dr. Selma Durak Üğüten, Assistant Professor, and İrem Bulut, Lecturer, both members of our College’s Quality and Accreditation Commission, attended the seminar. The seminar, held in the Conference Hall of the Presidency of the Council of Education, featured Council of Europe Expert Brian North as a speaker; following his presentation on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), he answered questions from the participants.
