The event titled “Teaching That Thinks: Empowering Learners and Educators for a New Era – From Digital Transformation to Deep Inquiry in Today’s ELT Classroom,” organized in collaboration with the School of Foreign Languages at Necmettin Erbakan University (UES), took place on February 7, 2026.

The event began with an opening address by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hidayet Oğuz. In his remarks, Oğuz emphasized that this event, organized for the first time by YADAM, made a significant contribution to knowledge sharing by bringing together English teachers on behalf of the university.
 

YADAM Director Prof. Dr. Murat Çemrek, in his remarks, expressed his gratitude to the speakers and participants. Expressing his satisfaction at organizing the first such event as YADAM, Çemrek shared with the participants that many more events designed to contribute to language education are planned for the future.
 

The event, which featured Koray Tunç and Amir Hamidî as speakers, drew a large crowd of participants from Konya and surrounding provinces.

At the conclusion of the event, Prof. Dr. Murat Çemrek thanked Halil İbrahim Arslan on behalf of GASKONDER, as well as the companies PIN DRINKS and LIPTON, for their support of the event, with special thanks to UES.
