Being a Woman: Life, Struggle, and Success
A special panel titled “Being a Woman: Life, Struggle, and Success”, jointly organized by our Vocational School and the Entrepreneurship and Career Student Club, was held on the occasion of March 8, International Women’s Day at the ERL College Conference Hall with high attendance.
The panel, which focused on women’s place in society, the challenges they face, and their inspiring success stories, attracted great interest from the audience. The event began with a moment of silence and the Turkish National Anthem. It continued with opening speeches delivered by Konya Ereğli District Governor Mr. Oğuz Cem MURAT and our School Director Prof. Dr. Metin ARMAĞAN.
Moderated by our faculty member Lecturer Melek YAMANER ÖZDEMİR, the panel featured the following esteemed speakers who shared their experiences and inspiring stories:

Ms. Merve BOSTANCI, Ereğli Public Prosecutor
Ms. Rukiye İVGEN, Director of Ereğli Land Registry Office
Ms. Nurgül GÜÇLÜ, Representative of the Chamber of Architects – Ereğli Branch
Ms. Özge SÜRER, Gendarmerie Non-Commissioned Officer
Ms. Zehra DÜNDAR, Teacher
At the conclusion of the panel, flowers and certificates of appreciation were presented to the speakers.
