Our faculty, Tourism Management Department Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kevser Çınar, was deemed worthy of the Best Paper Award with her paper titled “Engaging Minds and Hearts: The Impact of Gamified Mobile Storytelling on Cultural Learning”, which she presented at the sixth Intercontinental Tourism Management Congress held this year with the slogan “Tourism for a Better World” between April 30 and May 3, 2025, with the participation of more than 300 academicians, researchers and sector representatives from 55 different countries.

We congratulate our professor for this important success achieved at this prestigious congress organized with the cooperation of leading universities in Turkey and internationally respected tourism scientists under the leadership of the Turkish Tourism Academicians Association (TUADER), authorized by the Council of Higher Education for the accreditation of higher education tourism programs, and congratulate all her colleagues who contributed.

In addition, the same paper was invited to be published by the prestigious SSCI-indexed Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Technology.
