The "Nature-Based Tourism: Nature Walking (Trekking) and Cycling Tourism" event, organized by our Tourism Guiding Department faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sercan Aras, was held to strengthen the sustainable tourism approach and contribute to the development of specialized and qualified human resources in the sector. The event addressed the environmental, economic, and social dimensions of nature-based tourism activities; the importance of tourist guides specializing in these areas was emphasized. Through the contributions of experienced speakers, participants were provided with up-to-date information and gained practical perspectives. The program contributed to the development of a conscious guiding approach in line with sustainable tourism principles.
