Our Faculty Contributed to Konya GastroFest with Academic Consulting, Festival Talks, and Workshops

Konya GastroFest 2025, organized by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality to promote Konya's rich culinary culture nationally and internationally, was once again well-attended this year. The festival offered an unforgettable experience featuring local flavors, gastronomy workshops, talks, and performances. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Seç, Head of the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department at Necmettin Erbakan University's Faculty of Tourism, contributed to the festival's strong scientific and cultural foundation. He provided academic consulting support and significantly contributed to the festival's content planning and program planning. Along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Seç, Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department faculty members Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yeliz Pekreşen and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eda Güneş also contributed by hosting speakers and organizing workshops at the festival. These collaborations have solidified Konya GastroFest's role as not only a gathering of flavors but also a platform for evaluating gastronomic culture from an academic perspective.
