Necmettin Erbakan University Tourism Faculty academic staff and graduate students achieved a significant success at the 7th National Tourist Guiding Congress hosted by Aksaray University on May 15-16, 2025. The paper titled “Tourist Guides’ Challenge with Digitalization” prepared by Prof. Dr. Yasin Bilim, Dr. Lecturer İbrahim Hakkı Kaynak and Master’s Student Filiz Arslan was deemed worthy of the Future Vision Award by the congress scientific committee and honored with the Best Paper Award. The report presented a comprehensive assessment of the digital transformation process of the tourist guiding profession and presented innovative solution proposals for the future of guiding. The study, which addresses the multidimensional effects of digital tools on professional identity, cultural transfer and technological adaptation, attracted attention both academically and in the sector. At the ceremony held within the scope of the congress, the certificates were presented to the award winners by the officials of the Aksaray University Faculty of Tourism and the members of the congress organization committee.
