The TÜBİTAK 1002-A group research project titled "In vivo Investigation of the Effect of Simulated Microgravity Conditions on Food Preference of Different Microalgae Species," led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eda GÜNEŞ from the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts at the Faculty of Tourism, has been deemed successful and awarded funding. Prepared within the framework of the Turkish National Space Program, this project is significant as it is the first experimental space gastronomy project in Türkiye. Berkan EREN, a graduate student from the department, will also participate in the project as a scholarship researcher. We congratulate our esteemed professor and the project team and wish them continued success.
