Architectural Design and Art

Architectural design is a combination of ideas and processes used to construct a building. This process takes into account many factors, including aesthetics, functionality, environmental considerations, and budget. Since art is also a discipline based on aesthetics, creativity, and freedom of expression, it plays a significant role in the architectural design process. It is well known that artists tend to focus particularly on aesthetic factors during this process. The shape, materials, color, and texture of a building often depend on the creativity of artists involved in the design. While it is not common for buildings to be considered works of art, some structures are indeed recognized as architectural masterpieces.
