An International Workshop Is Being Held at Our Faculty

An international workshop will be held on April 16–17, 2026, at the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture, Necmettin Erbakan University. Organized under the European Union HORIZON project “Bio-based Solutions for Improved Acoustic Implications,” in which our faculty is a partner, the workshop’s title has been set as “Environmentally Friendly Acoustic Materials: Design, Performance, and Industrial Transformation.” The workshop will address the design, performance, and industrial transformation of environmentally friendly acoustic materials through a multidimensional approach. Three main themes will be highlighted during the event: “Sustainable Material Design and Eco-Materials,” “Acoustic Performance and Advanced Materials,” and “Industrial Transformation and Circularity.” Within these frameworks, discussions will focus on sustainable material development, advanced acoustic solutions, and production processes centered on the circular economy. Researchers, academics, and all interested participants in the field are invited to attend the workshop.
