From Tradition to Table: Bolu Cuisine in Local Flavor Days

Within the scope of the Local Taste Days organized by the Directorate of Nutrition Unit of our Presidency, distinguished tastes from Bolu cuisine were served in the dining halls of our University on Friday, June 13, 2025.

The menu, which appealed to the palate of our students and staff, consisted of local dishes from Bolu, one of the important stops of traditional Turkish cuisine. In the event, which attracted great interest, the participants had both a delicious meal and a cultural experience.

The menu, which attracted attention with its rich content, included Mengen Soup, Mengen Pilaf, Abant Kebab and Göynük Dikbörek for dessert. This special day, which brought the original flavors of Bolu, one of the most deep-rooted cuisines of Anatolia, to the university kitchen, received full marks from the participants.
