Within the scope of the Local Flavor Days prepared by the Nutrition Unit Branch Directorate of our Presidency, the Gaziantep Cuisine menu served in our university dining halls on Friday, May 23, 2025 attracted great interest from our students and staff.
The menu, which attracted attention with its rich content, included Beyran Soup, Inner Rice, Alinazik Kebab and Muska Şöbiyet for dessert. This special day, which brought the original flavors of Gaziantep, one of the oldest cuisines of Anatolia, to the university kitchen, received full marks from the participants.
Our students, academic and administrative staff stated that the food exceeded their expectations with its presentation and taste. Those who attended the event especially praised the taste of Alinazik kebab and the sweet traces left on the palate by the muska şöbiyet.
“We will continue these rich menus, which aim to bring our students and staff together with the cultures of different regions, in the coming semester,” the Presidency said in a statement.
The day when these unique flavors unique to Gaziantep Cuisine were presented, appealed to both palates and hearts, turning the university dining hall into a flavor stop.
