The Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) of the Republic of Turkey, under the auspices of the Defense Industry Academy, organized a “Stakeholder Collaboration Meeting” on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at the Presidential National Library Conference Hall as part of the “National Competence Initiative.”

Representing our university, Chief Emine KUMRU from the Directorate of Personnel and Administrative Affairs and Associate Professor Ebru ÖZER, Coordinator of the Career Center and Alumni Relations, attended the meeting.

The meeting, which was attended by Career Center Managers and Health, Culture, and Sports Unit Representatives from 190 universities across Turkey, aimed to take important steps together for the development of our students' competencies in the new period, the interaction channels with our universities, and the opportunities offered by the National Competency Initiative to our students. Discussions were held regarding the opportunities offered to our students by the National Competency Initiative, the channels of interaction with our universities, taking important steps together for the competency development of our students in the new period, and encouraging students to establish National Competency Student Clubs related to this field in universities.
