The establishment of the Vocational School of Health Services within Necmettin Erbakan University was discussed at the General Assembly meeting of Higher Education on December 19, 2019, and deemed appropriate in accordance with Article 7/d-2 of Law No. 2547, as amended by Law No. 2880. The transfer of certain programs from Necmettin Erbakan University's Meram Vocational School to the Vocational School of Health Services was examined at the Executive Board meeting of Higher Education on June 10, 2020, and the transfer of the Oral and Dental Health Program, the First Aid and Emergency Program, and the Dental Prosthetics Technology Program was deemed appropriate in accordance with Article 7/d-2 of Law No. 2547, as amended by Law No. 2880. Our Vocational School currently includes the Department of Dentistry Services and its affiliated Dental Prosthetics Technology Program and Oral and Dental Health Program, as well as the Department of Medical Services and Techniques and its affiliated First Aid and Emergency Program. In the 2022-2023 academic year, 162 students are enrolled in the Emergency and First Aid Program and 175 students in the Oral and Dental Health Program. As of 2023, our academic staff consists of 4 Assistant Professors and 6 Lecturers. Our administrative staff includes 1 School Secretary. Our Vocational School of Health Services provides associate degree-level education in two departments and two programs to train qualified healthcare professionals. Our vocational school initially accepted students into the Emergency and First Aid Program under the Medical Services and Techniques Department and the Oral and Dental Health Program under the Dental Services Department. Graduates have the opportunity to work as healthcare professionals in both the public and private sectors, depending on the qualifications of their chosen field. Each student graduating from our associate degree programs will be ready to take their place in the healthcare sector, a vital sector in our country, and will experience the joy and pride of contributing to raising the health standards of society.
