Hygiene Studies at Our University Documented by TSE

Our University has been awarded the "TS 13811 Hygiene and Sanitation Management System Standard" certificate, which is given by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) to institutions that provide hygiene conditions in common areas.

Acting with the awareness that "Hygiene is a process that starts at the individual level and affects the health of the entire society", our University's Institutional Quality Development and Accreditation Coordination team completed the certification process with TSE officials. During this process, all units of our University worked in a coordinated manner and fulfilled the necessary arrangements. In this way, it was documented that hygiene standards were provided for the health of our students, academics and employees at our University.

It was determined by TSE that the hygiene conditions in the common areas of our University were appropriate and documented. In order to provide the hygiene standards required for the certificate, our University has created its own hygiene policy and has undergone inspections to ensure the appropriateness of hygiene conditions in the ongoing process. High-level hygiene measures have been taken to reduce the spread of infectious diseases in pandemic conditions. In the following process, our University has been organized to adapt to new conditions in terms of hygiene.

In the new academic year, where face-to-face education will start after a 1.5-year break due to pandemic conditions at our university, hygienic environments have been created to prevent infectious diseases. Common areas have been arranged in accordance with social distance rules, hygiene training has been given to employees in areas where food is served, disinfection procedures have been completed, and regular hygiene checks have been carried out. All precautions have been taken to minimize the risk of infection, and compliance with Hygiene and Sanitation Standards has been ensured so that our students, academics and employees can start the new academic year safely.
