The "Measurement and Evaluation Training - 2 (Quality Management System Training)" organized by our Quality and Accreditation Coordinatorship was held in a single session at the Faculty of Nursing on February 23, 2024 at 14:00.

The meeting began with the opening speech of Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Bahadır FEYZİOĞLU. Quality and Accreditation Coordinator Prof. Dr. Ahmet TÜRKAN emphasized the content and importance of the Unit Internal Evaluation Report (UIDR) prepared by units, which strengthens the Institutional Internal Evaluation Report (IIER) submitted regularly to the Higher Education Quality Council of Turkey (YÖKAK) each year. He provided detailed explanations regarding the contributions of the Strategic Plan to be prepared for the full measurement of the units' BIDR reports within the framework of PDCA and at the maturity level.  Prof.  Dr.  Türkan stated that conducting needs analyses, gathering stakeholder opinions, establishing the institution's mission, vision, goals, and objectives accordingly, and defining performance indicators during the preparation of the strategic plan will greatly contribute to the institution moving forward with concrete steps towards the future. 
Prof. Dr.  Türkan provided information regarding the definition of learning outcomes for qualifications to be included in the Turkish Higher Education Qualifications Framework (TQEF) and the process of defining learning outcomes and knowledge, skills, and competencies.

Subsequently, NEU Quality and Accreditation Coordination Office staff member Computer Engineer Asuman GÜNERHAN gave a presentation on how to use the "Corporate Governance Information System" menus for "Performance Indicator Definition and Reporting," "Risk Management Definition and Reporting," "Process Management Definition and Reporting," and "Evaluation Definitions." Additionally, information regarding survey preparation and analysis was provided in the DATASİS Survey Automation.

The training ended with good wishes for the future after the questions and answers session.
