Our 7 Undergraduate Programs Have Certified Quality in Education

The 7 undergraduate programs within our university have earned the right to use the Turkish Qualifications Framework (TYÇ) logo, which represents high quality and qualification in the field of education and employment both at home and abroad, on diploma supplements, graduation certificates and transcripts.

Congratulating the undergraduate program directors and academicians who have earned the right to use the TYÇ logo, our Rector Prof. Dr. Cem Zorlu said, “When students choose a department, they look at whether the faculty or department is accredited rather than the name of the university. Because if it is accredited, its diploma is valid in the international arena. The first condition for you to be able to obtain the right to use the TYÇ logo is for the undergraduate program to be accredited. The diplomas of students who carry the TYÇ logo on their diplomas are recognized faster abroad and have much more employment opportunities. I congratulate our undergraduate programs that have earned the right to add the TYÇ logo to their diploma supplements, graduation certificates and transcripts. I would like to thank all administrative and academic staff who contribute to the success of our university.”

What is the Turkish Qualifications Framework (TYÇ)?

The Turkish Qualifications Framework (TYC) is a national qualification framework that determines all qualification principles acquired through vocational, general and academic education and training programs and other learning methods, including primary, secondary and higher education, designed to be compatible with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF).TYC aims to enable the development of new qualifications, the improvement of existing qualifications, the recognition of previous learning, the determination of horizontal and vertical transfer opportunities between qualifications and the international comparability of qualifications.A series of basic goals have been determined as a result of the examination of many policy and strategy documents related to the TYC, the determination of the characteristics and requirements of the education and training system and the labor market as a result of meetings held with stakeholders and comprehensive research on the experiences of other countries.
