Our university's Law School students Arif Emrah Toyoğlu and Yusuf Polat were given the title of 'Quality Ambassador' by the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK).
As a result of the national level trainings, workshops and programs provided by YÖKAK, NEÜ Law School 1st year students Arif Emrah Toyoğlu and Yusuf Polat, who participated in 3 eliminations and were successful in these national level eliminations, were included in YÖKAK's Evaluator/Monitoring Program and took their first duty with the title of "Quality Ambassador".
YÖKAK assigned Arif Emrah Toyoğlu as the student representative in Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University's monitoring program, and Yusuf Polat as the student representative in İstanbul Maltepe University's monitoring program.
Our university's Law School Dean Prof. Dr. Nuran Koyuncu congratulated the students who served as evaluators in the institutional monitoring program of the universities within YÖKAK and wished them continued success.
What is the Duty of the Higher Education Quality Board?
The Higher Education Quality Board, which conducts evaluations of the quality levels of higher education institutions' education, training and research activities and administrative services according to national and international quality standards, conducts internal and external quality assurance, accreditation processes and authorization processes of independent external evaluation institutions, is an administratively and financially autonomous, public legal entity and special budget organization. The main duties of the Higher Education Quality Board are as follows; to conduct external evaluations of higher education institutions, to conduct authorization and recognition processes of accreditation institutions and to ensure the internalization and dissemination of quality assurance culture in higher education institutions.
