The "Quality Management System Training" organized by our Quality and Accreditation Coordinatorship was held at the Faculty of Tourism in a single session on March 15, 2024 at 10:00.

The meeting began with the opening speech of Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Bahadır FEYZİOĞLU. Quality and Accreditation Coordinator Prof. Dr. Ahmet TÜRKAN emphasized the content and importance of the Unit Internal Evaluation Report (UIDR) prepared by units, which strengthens the Institutional Internal Evaluation Report (IIER) submitted regularly to the Higher Education Quality Council of Turkey (YÖKAK) each year. He provided detailed explanations regarding the contributions of the Strategic Plan to be prepared for the full measurement of the units' BIDR reports within the framework of PDCA and at the maturity level.  Prof.  Dr.  Türkan stated that conducting needs analyses, gathering stakeholder opinions, and establishing the institution's mission, vision, goals, and objectives in line with this, as well as defining performance indicators, will greatly contribute to the institution progressing with concrete steps towards the future.

Prof. Dr. Türkan provided information regarding the definition of learning outcomes for qualifications to be included in the Turkish Higher Education Qualifications Framework (TQEF) and the process of defining knowledge, skills, and competencies through learning outcomes.
