A Journey Through History and Civilization from the Academy of Social Sciences to Çatalhöyük

On January 10, 2026, a cultural trip to Çatalhöyük was organized by the Academy of Social Sciences under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muammer Ulutürk. Participants gained detailed information about the historical and geographical features of the region.The Çatalhöyük trip, organized within the scope of the events themed "Culture, Geography, and Space" by the Social Sciences Academy, offered participants a significant experience from the perspective of history and civilization. The program, held on January 10, 2026, started with the departure from the Social Innovation Agency. During the event, a trip to Çatalhöyük was carried out under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muammer Ulutürk, a faculty member of the Faculty of Social and Humanities at Necmettin Erbakan University. While the participants had the opportunity to examine Çatalhöyük, one of the oldest settlements in human history, on-site, they acquired comprehensive information about the historical, cultural, and geographical features of the region. The program contributed to the participants gaining both academic and cultural benefits.
