About Us

The Department of Computer Engineering was established in 2017. The department consists of 3 main branches of science: Computer Software, Computer Hardware and Computer Science.

The Department of Computer Engineering carries out an educational plan that aims to educate our students in the best way possible in both respects by combining theory and practice in order to train computer engineers who can find qualified jobs in national or international IT organizations or in the academic field with the title of computer engineer they have acquired on a solid foundation and engineering sciences infrastructure, who can analyze the functioning of an existing system, who can identify problems and find original and creative solutions, who can design and project a new system, who can do individual and team work that will provide progress in business life, who can express themselves verbally and in writing, who can follow resources written in a foreign language, who are open to innovation and self-confident, and who are sensitive to the problems of our age and who fulfill their profession with the responsibility required by this sensitivity, and who can act in accordance with ethical principles. The program includes compulsory courses related to both basic engineering sciences and computer engineering. In addition, in addition to compulsory courses in the curriculum, there are also elective courses that students can choose according to their own preferences. Thus, the Computer Engineering Department trains contemporary engineers who are equipped with the knowledge and skills to serve in every field of the Computer Engineering profession on a national and international scale, who improve themselves by following the developments in their field, who are prone to teamwork, who are questioning, and who value ethical values.

The purpose of the Computer Engineering Department;
The Computer Engineering Department provides education and conducts research on the structure and development of computer systems and effective use methods of these systems. Training computer engineers equipped with contemporary theoretical and practical knowledge in these subjects is very important in terms of directing the economy. This task has been undertaken by the computer engineering departments of universities. The Computer Engineering Department aims to train engineers who have the skills to make fundamental and permanent contributions to the Computer Engineering profession. The further aim of the program is to provide its students with the ability to continue their personal development after graduation. This undergraduate program aims to provide its students with the necessary technical competencies, tools and personal opportunities to continuously develop their cognitive power, expertise and professionalism. It also aims to provide students with international and national cultural and academic gains by supporting their participation in international and national educational projects such as ERASMUS and FARABI.
