Faculty of Theology, Selçuk University
On July 20, 1982, it was affiliated with Selçuk University and became part of the Faculty of Theology. The faculty continues its education at its building on Meram Yeni Yol in the central district of Konya. With facilities such as a Computer Laboratory, Foreign Language Laboratory, Cafeteria, Sports Facilities, Hikmet Student Club, and canteen services, students are provided opportunities for social activities.

In 2012, the name of our university was changed to Necmettin Erbakan University by Law No. 6287. "In 2013, by the decision of the Council of Ministers No. 2013/4480, the Seydişehir Ahmet Cengiz Faculty of Engineering, Ereğli Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Ereğli Faculty of Education, Seydişehir Vocational School, Seydişehir Health Services Vocational School, and Konya Ereğli Kemal Akman Vocational School, which were part of Selçuk University, were transferred to our university. In the same year, the Faculty of Educational Sciences was closed, and the Vocational School of Justice was established.

According to Article 13 of Law No. 2547 and Articles 2, 3, and 7 of the 3rd Presidential Decree, Prof. Dr. Cem Zorlu was appointed as the Rector of our university by the President of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, on November 22, 2018.
