Prof. Dr. Bahadır Feyzioğlu
Born in Erzurum as the third child of a civil servant family, he graduated from Bünyan High School in 1996, was accepted into Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine the same year, and continued his education through lateral transfer to Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine, graduating in 2002. Between 2002 and 2004, he worked as a general practitioner in the Pasinler district. He passed the medical specialty exam in April 2004 and completed his medical microbiology residency training at Selçuk University Meram Faculty of Medicine from 2004 to 2008. In 2008, he worked as a specialist physician at Karaman State Hospital as part of his public service obligation.
During this period, he was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the Karaman Governor's Office for his achievements in administrative duties. He served on the board of directors of the Karaman Medical Chamber. In April 2011, he was appointed Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Microbiology at Selçuk University Meram Faculty of Medicine. He completed his doctorate in Virology at Selçuk University in March 2015. He became an Associate Professor in the Department of Medical Microbiology at Necmettin Erbakan University's Meram Faculty of Medicine, Department of Basic Medical Sciences, in 2015 and a Professor in 2021.
Feyzioğlu, who has served as Dean of the Nezahat Keleşoğlu Faculty of Health Sciences at Necmettin Erbakan University since March 2021, was appointed Vice Rector of our university on February 9, 2023, in accordance with Article 13 of Higher Education Law No. 2547.
Feyzioğlu, who has authored numerous national and international scientific studies in the fields of Medical Microbiology and Medical Virology, is married and has two children.
