Prof. Dr. Bahadır Feyzioğlu

He was born in Erzurum as the third child of a civil servant family. He graduated from Bünyan High School in 1996, was accepted to Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine the same year, and continued his education through horizontal transfer from Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine in 2002. He worked as a general practitioner in the Pasinler district between 2002 and 2004. He passed the medical specialty exam in April 2004 and received specialist training in Medical Microbiology at Selçuk University Meram Faculty of Medicine between 2004 and 2008. In 2008, he worked as a specialist physician at Karaman State Hospital within the framework of his public service obligation. During this period, he was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the Karaman Governorship for his achievements in his administrative duties. He served on the board of directors of the Karaman Medical Chamber. In April 2011, he was appointed Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Microbiology at Selçuk University Meram Faculty of Medicine. He completed his Doctorate in Virology at Selçuk University in March 2015. He became an Associate Professor in the Department of Medical Microbiology, Department of Basic Medical Sciences, at Necmettin Erbakan University, Meram Faculty of Medicine, in 2015 and a Professor in 2021. Having served as Dean of the Nezahat Keleşoğlu Faculty of Health Sciences at Necmettin Erbakan University since March 2021, Feyzioğlu was appointed Vice Rector of our University on February 9, 2023, in accordance with Article 13 of Higher Education Law No. 2547. Feyzioğlu, who has numerous national and international scientific studies in the fields of Medical Microbiology and Medical Virology, is married and has two children.
