Prof. Dr. Hidayet Oğuz
He was born in 1971 in Seydişehir, Konya. He graduated from the Department of Agricultural Machinery of the Faculty of Agriculture of Selçuk University in 1991. He started working as a lecturer at S.Ü. Vocational School of Technical Sciences in 1993. He completed his master's degree in the Department of Agricultural Machinery of the Institute of Science at Selçuk University in 1998 and his PhD in 2004. In 2012, he started working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Energy Systems Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering at Necmettin Erbakan University. He served as Department Head, Department Head, Vice Dean, Faculty Board Member, and Faculty Executive Board Member. He became a Professor in 2017. He served as the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences in Ereğli between 2017-2020. In 2020, he served as Dean of the Ereğli Faculty of Agriculture. He also served as Director of the Ereğli Kemal Akman Vocational School at various times. He also served as Director of the Technology Transfer Office. In 2023, he was appointed Dean of the Seydişehir Ahmet Cengiz Faculty of Engineering and Director of the Seydişehir Vocational School. He was appointed Vice Rector on May 31, 2024. Prof. Dr. Hidayet OĞUZ, who has conducted numerous national and international scientific studies in the field of energy and biofuels, is married with two children.
