MISSION
The mission of the Autism Studies Application and Research Center (NEOTAM) is to conduct early identification and assessment, intervention, educational services, and research activities in the field of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) while serving as a center for identification and assessment, educational intervention, and training. In addition to establishing and managing an educational unit specifically for ASD, the center is committed to providing education in all ASD-related areas. Another significant mission of the center is to develop and implement training programs for educators and specialists, as well as to collaborate with public and/or private institutions. Furthermore, the center aims to engage in activities that raise awareness among families and the broader society regarding ASD.
Within its scope, the center is dedicated to providing early education for individuals with ASD and their families. Moreover, it focuses on developing and implementing new models and methodologies in the education of individuals with ASD. A fundamental objective of the center is to collaborate with national and international institutions/organizations in order to transfer and apply innovative educational models and methods, thereby fostering the highest quality education and promoting a high level of awareness regarding evidence-based practices.
VISION
The vision of the Autism Studies Application and Research Center (NEOTAM) is to develop and implement educational models and methodologies tailored for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The center is committed to collaborating with national and international institutions/organizations to transfer and implement innovative educational approaches. One of its key objectives is to design training programs for educators and specialists, and to provide educational opportunities for parents and caregivers.
Recognizing that individuals with ASD can integrate into society following a well-structured and high-quality education process, the center is dedicated to organizing activities that facilitate their social inclusion. It also strives to offer vocational training programs, thereby enhancing career opportunities for individuals with ASD, by integrating scientific and technological advancements, the center seeks to design and implement educational programs that foster both personal and professional development.
Additionally, the center prioritizes the development and execution of national and international research and development projects. It actively engages in securing financial support from both public and private sources for research activities and, when necessary, provides educational services utilizing its own resources, ensuring adherence to the principle of equality. Lastly, the center holds a significant role in offering expert witness and consultancy services in ASD-related matters.
