PAINTING-CRAFT TEACHING PROGRAM INFORMATION
The Department of Art Education (Painting-Craft Education) offers a four-year (eight-semester) undergraduate program that trains visual arts teachers by providing students with professional knowledge, general culture, and subject-specific courses. Graduates are eligible to work as teachers in public and private schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education.
The program is conducted in Turkish and is offered only as daytime education. Student admission is based on a single-stage special talent examination conducted within the Ahmet Keleşoğlu Faculty of Education at Necmettin Erbakan University. The academic staff consists of professors, associate professors, assistant professors (doctor faculty members), and research assistants, and education is provided at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
DEPARTMENT OF MUSIC EDUCATION INFORMATION
The Department of Music Education was established in the 1987–1988 academic year within Selçuk University. In 1990–1991, it was moved to the Meram Campus, where it produced its first graduates. In 1998, it became part of the Department of Fine Arts Education, and since 2012 it has continued its academic activities under Necmettin Erbakan University.

Graduates can work as music teachers in institutions affiliated with the Ministry of National Education. In addition to undergraduate education, the department also offers master’s programs (with and without thesis) as well as doctoral programs.
