Information About the Summer School
Students may enroll in summer school courses offered by any public higher education institution, without a minimum grade point requirement.
Students may take up to two (2) courses, provided that they meet the attendance requirements.
Students who are left with only one course after the summer school period will be granted the right to take a single course exam.
Application Process
Students must submit a signed application petition in PDF format through the NEU Support Request System (Talep Destek Sistemi), clearly indicating the courses they wish to take from other institutions during the summer school term.
The petition must include the course content/descriptions of the courses offered by the other institution.
Petitions that are submitted in the correct format, along with the required documents, will be evaluated by the relevant departments in accordance with the official principles regarding summer school course enrollment from other institutions.
The decision on whether the requested course(s) will be accepted or not will be communicated to the student via the support system. (Students are responsible for checking their support requests regularly.)
After completion of the summer school, the evaluation and credit transfer process will be carried out in accordance with the Directive on Exemption and Course Equivalency Procedures for Associate and Undergraduate Degrees of our University.
