In line with the competencies acquired by associate degree students, they are employed in various areas of the information technology sector. Since graduates of the program are also capable of launching their own initiatives, they are well-equipped to fill the demand for IT personnel in public and private sector organizations, particularly in areas such as information systems, software, hardware, communication networks, and maintenance services.

Departments Eligible for Transfer via the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS):

Graduates who complete this two-year program are eligible to continue their education in the following fields by passing the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) administered by ÖSYM: Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Education, Computer and Instructional Technologies Teaching, Information Technologies, Physics, Statistics, and other areas related to informatics. They may also transfer to Aerospace and Space Engineering Technologies based on their DGS results. Additionally, all of our graduates have the opportunity to complete their undergraduate studies by enrolling in the third year of the Open Education Faculty’s Economics or Business Administration departments.
