Imaging 2.0: The Era of Artificial Intelligence in Radiology” Seminar

A seminar titled “Imaging 2.0: The Era of Artificial Intelligence in Radiology” was held at our school to draw attention to rapidly developing technological innovations in the field of healthcare.

During the seminar, the role of artificial intelligence in medical imaging, its contributions to radiology applications, and the potential convenience it may provide in future diagnostic processes were discussed. Participants were informed about how artificial intelligence-supported systems can be used in imaging processes, as well as the possible contributions of automatic segmentation applications and deep learning methods to radiological evaluations.

Within the scope of the program, the potential of artificial intelligence to accelerate workflow in medical imaging, support image analysis, and assist physicians in diagnostic processes was emphasized. In addition, the advantages of artificial intelligence applications, as well as their limitations, possible risks, and points requiring attention, were evaluated.

In the final part of the seminar, ethical and legal responsibilities regarding the use of artificial intelligence in healthcare services were addressed, and the importance of using these technologies under human supervision and with a sense of professional responsibility was highlighted.
