Under the Department of Medical Services and Techniques, there are two programs: Medical Laboratory Techniques and Medical Imaging Techniques.
Medical Laboratory Techniques Program
The Medical Laboratory Techniques Program admitted its first students in the 2023–2024 academic year.
The purpose of the Medical Laboratory Techniques Program is to train healthcare technicians who perform medical analyses required by physicians in diagnostic and treatment laboratories within healthcare institutions, based on the patient’s condition.
Medical laboratory technicians can work in hospitals, medical faculties, private diagnostic laboratories, research centers of other healthcare institutions, public health institutes, food industry laboratories, and organizations engaged in research and development in the medical field.
Medical Imaging Techniques Program
The Medical Imaging Techniques Program admitted its first students in the 2023–2024 academic year.
The aim of the Medical Imaging Techniques Program is to train qualified healthcare professionals who operate advanced radiological devices and assist physicians in the use of X-rays for both diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Students who successfully complete the program are awarded an associate degree and earn the title of Radiology Technician. Graduates of the Medical Imaging Techniques Program can work as Radiology Technicians in public hospitals, university hospitals, private hospitals, private medical centers, and private imaging centers, particularly in departments such as conventional radiology, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), angiography, mammography, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine, and radiotherapy.
