Faculty of Science

The Faculty of Science was established on July 14, 2010. With its four departments(Biotechnology, Statistics, Mathematics-Computer Science, and Molecular Biology and Genetics) it continues its academic activities by graduating qualified individuals for employment in various sectors such as health, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and education.

The primary aim of our faculty is to cultivate highly qualified individuals who, inspired by the universal values of ancient civilizations, effectively utilize science and technology, apply contemporary educational methods, explore a wide range of scientific fields, gain in-depth knowledge in specific areas, update their knowledge with a research-oriented mindset, conduct independent research, continuously develop their skills, are self-confident, and possess a high level of culture.

Our faculty adopts as its mission to transform university-industry collaborations from theoretical plans into practical implementations. With the awareness that universities must play a leading role in achieving Turkey’s 2023 goals, we aim to contribute to the sustainable development of our country by providing a highly qualified workforce.

Additionally, Double Major and Minor programs are actively offered within the Departments of Molecular Biology and Genetics and Biotechnology.
