Aim;

The main purpose of The Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design is to be a bridge that combines the past and the future by feeding from its own culture and identity in every aspects of urban living spaces with the understanding of sense of art. Besides; It aims to educate designers who have the ability to provide economic solutions that are physiologically and psychologically healthy, original, functional, environmentally compatible, environmental equipment and needs are fulfilled by using functional and aesthetic knowledge in indoor and environmental arrangements.

Mission;

During the four years of education, The Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design aspires to train qualified “Interior Architects and Environmental Designers” who can design projects that offering solutions by improving the quality of life for the user, for livable interiors and exteriors that combine aesthetics and function, based on visual perception, integrated with the nature and traditional arts with the help of science and technology. It is also among the objectives of the department to provide students with versatile knowledge in the fields of interior and environmental design, to develop their aesthetic sensibilities and artistic skills.
