General Public Law is a discipline that regulates the relations of the state with itself, its institutions and its citizens. Within this scope, first the state and then the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals are taken as basis. In this context, it covers the theory of the State and the theory of human rights. It includes theories about the birth of the state, historical foundations and intellectual foundations, elements of the state, sovereignty, democracy, the nature of the modern state, the understanding of the nation state, the liberal state, the rule of law, the social state, the understanding of globalization and ideologies. In the section on human rights theory, the process of limitation of state power, national and international documents, human rights mechanisms and the development process of human rights in Turkey are analyzed.
