- Cooperative education consists of a two-term application carried out as a whole in the 7th and 8th semesters within the education period specified in the university's associate degree, undergraduate education-training and examination regulations. In order for the student to receive a cooperative education program certificate, he/she must pass both cooperative education program course-1 and cooperative education program course-2.
- Students who apply to the cooperative education program and meet the requirements register for the cooperative education program course-1 (30 ECTS) elective courses in the 7th semester; and the cooperative education program course-2 (30 ECTS) elective courses in the 8th semester.
- Although the program is a whole, the student's success in the 7th and 8th semesters is determined independently of each other. Students who fail in the cooperative education program are accepted to the regular undergraduate program the following semester. Students who are removed from the cooperative education program in the 7th semester continue in the regular undergraduate program in the 8th semester. Each semester is 14 weeks.
- Students who continue their joint education in the 7th semester may, in special cases, return to their departments in the 8th semester and continue their education at the university with the decision of the Faculty Joint Education Commission.
- Students may request a change of location based on valid reasons at the end of the matching process or after starting the application. The student requesting a change of workplace applies to the coordinator in writing. The Faculty Joint Education Committee decides on the application.
- After the start of the practice period, a workplace change can be made at most once upon the student's request and the approval of the Faculty Joint Education Committee. However, workplace changes can be made more than once during a practice period for reasons not attributable to the student and in cases of necessity.
- Workplaces that are determined not to make sufficient efforts to solve the problems encountered by students during the application may be removed from the joint education program upon the recommendation of the joint education supervisor and the Departmental Joint Education Committee.
