Property Protection And Security Department

The Property Protection and Security Department of Meram Vocational School was established in 2013 within the Seydişehir Vocational School of Necmettin Erbakan University. It has been providing education and training at Meram Vocational School since 2017.

CIVIL DEFENSE AND FIRE FIGHTING PROGRAM
The Civil Defense and Fire Fighting Program is designed to train specialized personnel for tasks such as firefighting, natural disaster response, search and rescue operations, and raising public disaster awareness. The program aims to develop individuals equipped with technical knowledge, physical competence, and ethical values.

Today, new developments, new projects, and new laws related to firefighting are being developed, creating a need for well-equipped and trained firefighters. Under the current system, the fire department recruits firefighters through volunteer applications. For the fire department and its units to properly conduct their operations, it is essential to employ scientifically qualified personnel with the necessary training and skills. Therefore, the program aims to train well-equipped and trained firefighters.

The purpose of the Civil Defense and Firefighting Program in the Property Protection and Security Department of Meram Vocational School is to continually expand the scope of work opportunities in response to advancements in Civil Defense and Firefighting, the expansion of search and rescue units, and increased precautions for natural disasters. This program aims to provide students with training that will enable them to master firefighting, firefighting, environmental protection, and other relevant topics.

Students receive theoretical and practical training in areas such as firefighting, firefighting equipment, first aid, disaster management, and chemical and biological hazard response. Professional skills are developed through modern simulation systems and drills.

PRIVATE SECURITY AND PROTECTION PROGRAM
The Private Security and Protection Program trains professional security personnel to ensure the security of individuals, institutions, and facilities. The program allows students to specialize in security law, personal protection, crime scene management, communication skills, and effective decision-making.
During the training, students gain knowledge and skills in areas such as security systems, physical security measures, close protection techniques, crowd control, incident response, and reporting. They also increase their professional competence through practical courses such as weapons training and self-defense techniques.
