About Us:
The Department of Electrical and Energy Electrical Program was opened in 1990 and started accepting students the same year. The Electrical Program is a 2-year associate degree program consisting of 4 semesters and accepts students with TYT scores. There are 3 lecturers in the program. In the required courses, the lecturers from Seydişehir Vocational School and Seydişehir Ahmet Cengiz Faculty of Engineering are used. There is 1 Electrical Laboratory in the program. In addition, Mechatronics and Computer Laboratories are also used. The courses are given theoretically and practically. In order for the courses to be compatible with the industry, attention is paid to the relations with the industry and the market. The courses are supported by internships during the summer months. The Electrical Program curriculum has been prepared to cover the subjects of electricity, electronics, power electronics, electrical systems, fault analysis, electrical machines and motors, production, transmission and distribution of electrical energy, control and automation systems, electrical installations and project drawings.
Purpose of the Program: To train qualified intermediate staff who can work in contemporary conditions in close cooperation with organizations operating in the electricity and energy sector and considering the future goals of the industry.
Mission of the Program: To train qualified technical staff who have acquired professional qualifications, can follow technological developments, have adopted lifelong learning, apply scientific methods, and are respectful of ethical values.
