The Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in 2011. The department consists of 4 main branches of science: Mechanics, Machine Materials and Manufacturing Technologies, and Machine Theory and Dynamics, and Energy.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering;
It aims to train mechanical engineers who are equipped with the knowledge and experience to take part in technical, administrative and R&D studies in the industry by providing undergraduate and graduate education at national and international levels, who have a continuous learning habit, who are entrepreneurial, prone to teamwork, who can produce solutions, who are researchers, who have acquired analysis and synthesis skills, who are open to technological developments, who are sensitive to environmental and cultural values, who are beneficial to their country and humanity, who conduct scientific research and produce technology to increase the quality of life of the society, who have the ability to think universally, and who have a broad horizon.
The aim of the Department of Mechanical Engineering;
To graduate students who receive education in the department as competent engineers who have reached the level of knowledge and equipment to carry out design, production, application and research and development activities.
