Tourism Management Department

The Department of Tourism Management at Necmettin Erbakan University was established in 2011 within the Faculty of Tourism. Our department has thesis-based Master's and Doctorate programs affiliated with the Department of Tourism Management. In addition, there is also a non-thesis Master's program.

The department aims to train personnel who are equipped with contemporary information in the fields of hotel management, food and beverage services, travel services, and transportation services in line with the needs of the sector and who have the characteristics to advance rapidly in business life and become managers. In this direction, our students are provided with internship opportunities in Germany every year and opportunities such as the Erasmus Student Exchange Program are offered in 4 different countries, namely Poland, Hungary, Romania and Portugal.

It is aimed to train personnel who have received training in the field of tourism management for tourism enterprises such as accommodation, travel agencies, food and beverage enterprises and other sports, health, hospital and transportation companies that support tourism with the diversification of tourism services, by maintaining a balance between the basic business disciplines and the requirements of the tourism profession, considering the priority needs of the tourism industry and global changes.
