Biosystems Engineering is an interdisciplinary engineering field that contributes to the sustainable management of natural resources by addressing biological, ecological, and agricultural systems using engineering principles. Students in this department receive training in a wide range of subjects including mathematics, physics, and fundamental engineering sciences, as well as soil science, plant production systems, water resource management, irrigation and drainage, agricultural mechanization, biomass and renewable energy, environmental technologies, waste recycling, and precision agriculture applications. In addition to theoretical courses, students develop problem-solving and design skills through laboratory work, field applications, and project-based learning methods.
