Necmettin Erbakan University Ereğli Kemal Akman Vocational School started to provide education under the name of Selçuk University Ereğli Vocational School in the 1987-1988 academic year.
Our graduates receive an Associate's Degree and the title of Electronic Communications Technician.
Students will be eligible to receive a diploma upon graduation if they have earned a total of 120 ECTS credits in 4 semesters, successfully completed all courses with a weighted grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00, and successfully completed a 25-day internship. Our graduates receive the necessary training in communication, information technology, computer science, electronics, and automation through laboratory-supported practical applications. Furthermore, our graduates can work in the fields of Telecommunications, Information Technology, Electrical-Electronics, Industry, Energy Systems, Control and Automation, Software, and Information Science. Our department has a Communications and Automation Laboratory. This allows our students to further their skills and receive a high-quality education.
Students who achieve a certain academic level can enroll in double major programs in the Electrical and Energy Department, Computer Technologies Department, and Machinery and Metal Technologies Department. In addition, our students can transfer to Engineering programs (Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Aerospace Electrical and Electronics, Control and Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Aircraft Electrical and Electronics, Space Engineering, Software Engineering) through the Vertical Transfer Exam.
